great location but needs better furnishings
The incredible location put us near all the loveliest spots in town, making exploration easy. The Junior Suite we stayed in offered a spacious layout that felt welcoming.
The furnishings felt somewhat dated and didn’t match the quality expected for the price.

We had a fantastic trip with my friends! The location was perfect for exploring, and we enjoyed the Magical Heirlooms of Chimayó Day Tour. We also went to the striking open-air theater, and it was a great experience. The staff was super helpful, and we loved having a fireplace in our room, making our stay cozy!
The bathroom was a bit small and the heating system could've worked better, but it didn't take away from our overall experience.

Checking in was a breeze, and I loved that the staff took the time to start the fireplace in my room each night. The hotel has lovely garden spots to relax, perfect for just kicking back with a book. The only downside was that the bathroom could have used a bit more space, but honestly, it didn't really affect my stay! 😊

The hotel staff was attentive and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. However, the bathroom space was limited, and the lack of nearby pet relief areas may be a concern for pet owners. Great for those wanting a convenient location and friendly service.

Family with children perfect getaway
The beds were comfortable, slept like a baby. The location is prime, just steps away from where all the action is, perfect for the kids to run and explore.
It's kind of pricey but, you know, worth it considering the experience.

I loved the friendly staff at Hotel Chimayo. they made a strong impression. The spacious Junior Suite with a fireplace added a cozy touch to our stay. Getting to the Plaza was easy, making it simple to explore local attractions. However, the lack of parking options was frustrating. We struggled to find a spot in the garage, despite having paid for parking. The breakfast setup left a bit to be desired—just some snacks rather than a proper meal. Also, the heater was a little temperamental. It took a while to warm up the room, and I’d appreciate more consistent heating in the winter. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel for its charm and location but hope they address the parking and heating issues soon.
